For a long time I have thought about what is it with me and this Night Watch?  And what does it want to tell me?  And why now, at this time?  The whole world now seems out of connection, every connection or covenant disappears.  Can't you see that too?

A world out of connection is not a world that you and I would like to see our children grow up in, right?  So, I think that it is about connecting with ourselves and with others.  How beautiful would the world be if we saw each other again?  Listen to each other again?  Want to help each other again and talk to each other?  Simply: being a little nicer again to ourselves and to others.

In this Night Watch, I will also look for connection – because what is connection actually?  to each panel I will eventually link a topic, a story that is about connection.  By finally connecting 500 panels with each other, this special Night Watch made of wood becomes visible.

You must be thinking: what does the Night Watch have to do with connection?

Well, what does the Night Watch have to do with wood?  Still, I see opportunities to connect the two.  Creatives always connect seemingly inseparable things—often things that others don't see—and then, guided by their intuition, try to make sense of what they see.

Because you will soon be able to walk, stand, dance, etc. on this Night Watch, you will automatically experience a different experience of the Night Watch.

Sometimes things are not or less visible, but other aspects are suddenly visible.  After all, by placing nfc chips in people and objects, information can be read out via the Night Watch in wood app, making this Night Watch interactive.

I will also link a topic to each panel that deals with connection, which can also be viewed via the app.  To further develop the app and to get the Night Watch in wood around the world, I need your help.
